April's Verse of the Month

Light ignites more light. When we hold a flame next to something that is also flammable, it catches fire. The same is true with the human race. We know that Jesus is the eternal light of the world. The light of Jesus shines so abruptly that darkness flees. As we draw nearer to Him in our daily living, our flame grows brighter as well. As our flame grows more vibrant, our light for Jesus and His gospel begins to spread. Our light in Him begins to meet people where they’re at. We never have to search for a source of light in the darkness, because the darkness is scared of those who possess light in Jesus. Fan the flame, my friend. Ignite your light by growing closer to Him.

Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.”
