Refined

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

James 1:2-3

She had been walking through a 

storm of fire for quite some time,

and then walked out as shimmering gold.

There is a process of refining that only happens through facing trials. In the moment, you will find yourself desperately wishing the hardship away. I know because I’ve lived it, but as time goes on, you will learn to see the trial that drew you closer to Him as a gift. When we continue to trust Him as we walk through the fire, our faith is strengthened. The refining causes us to reflect His character more clearly, and therefore, we can find great joy in the hardships that make us more like Him. You will walk out shining brighter than ever before.

I chose a hollow triangle to represent a trial with a shimmering gold triangle coming through it to represent the end result- us refined in Christ.

This piece includes two triangles that measure about 20mm. Chain and pendant are gold plated over brass. 18" Chain

About the Revival Collection:

This collection has been one of my favorites to create because it combines two of my favorite things- writing + scripture. With each piece I imagined being in the middle of a chapter in a book and what scripture I would lean into during that moment. This allowed me to not only get to write a piece of a story but also to tie it back to scripture and make people look at that verse in a relatable and beautiful way. Each piece is so beautiful and thought out and the chapter it goes with is so powerful.
