Weariness is familiar to us all. We carry heavy hearts, long nights, and the quiet ache of waiting for things to be made right. Scripture doesn’t ignore that darkness- it meets it with promise. Isaiah speaks of a light breaking into gloom, of hope rising where despair once lingered.

This is the holy truth echoed in the words of O Holy Night: “A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices.” Our rejoicing isn’t rooted in perfect circumstances, but in a perfect Savior. He is the Child given, the Prince of Peace, the One whose kingdom is marked by justice, mercy, and everlasting hope. Because of Him, the night does not last forever. Light has come.

So if your soul feels weary today, let hope rise again. Rejoice- not because the world is easy, but because the Light of the world has arrived, and His peace endures forever.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - Isaiah 9:6
