In 2 Corinthians 5:17, we find an incredible promise to grab hold of. It says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

I am so thankful that the reward of coming to Him is new life. It has been made so simple for us. Freedom from the past is available to anyone who receives the gift of grace He freely gives. There is joy in exchange for sorrow, peace in exchange for anxious hearts and minds, courage for fear, hope for hopelessness, grace for guilt, shame, and condemnation. There is a love that changes everything and His name is Jesus. 

There is nothing that cannot be turned around for good when He steps in. The circumstances and situations we feel would never amount to anything good, when placed in His hands, are molded into a masterpiece that reveals His glory. He desires to turn it around, make you new, and fill you with overflowing purpose where you feel like you have lacked it. What was once broken in your life will be the very thing that points others to the One who made you whole so that He can do the same with their story. 

There is a redeemer, a healer, and a restorer and in Him, the old is gone, the new is HERE!
