It’s so easy to question our worth- to feel small, overlooked, or insignificant. But Jesus reminds us that the God who keeps track of every sparrow and numbers every hair on your head sees you. Not only does He see you- He calls you worthy. Your value doesn’t come from what you achieve, how others view you, or whether you feel “enough.” It comes from the One who created you, redeemed you, and delights in you. When doubt whispers that you don’t matter, let His voice be louder: You are loved. You are chosen. You are worth more than many sparrows. Walk in the truth of who He says you are.

The God of Heaven calls you worthy- and His word stands forever.

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. -  Luke 12:6-7

For Deeper Study:

  • Where in my life do I most struggle to believe I am worthy in God’s eyes, and how can I invite His truth into that space?

  • Luke 12:6–7 says God knows even the number of hairs on my head. How does this picture of His care reshape the way I see myself?

  • What practical step can I take this week to live more fully in the confidence that God has already declared me valuable and loved?
