He's the God who says "be still", and the wind and waves obey. The storm will cease at His command. If you're in the middle of the storm right now, He is your peace. If the waves continue to crash around you, He is your comfort. If you've cried out, He has heard you.

He brings calm in the chaos of fear and anxiety and He is in control. Exchange doubt for trust and hold onto the promise of His word. He will see you through.

“And he said to them, ‘Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?’ Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.” - Matthew 8:26

For Deeper Study:

  • Where in my life am I facing a “storm,” and how can I intentionally trust God to be my peace in the middle of it?

  • What promise from Scripture do I need to hold onto in this season, and how does remembering it steady my heart?

  • When I look back, where can I see evidence of God calming past storms or carrying me through things I once feared?
